October 27, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

The LEGO Group has announced that it is bringing happiness and joy to fans of the Trolls franchise with the launch of a brand new LEGO Trolls theme set to tie in with the upcoming release of the animated feature film sequel Trolls World Tour. Specific details are being kept under wraps for the moment, but we do have an announcement video which gives us a look at Poppy, Branch, Biggie, Mr. Dinkles, Guy Diamond, Cooper and company in minifigure form; check it out here…

Continuing where the first film left off, it’s all glitter and happiness in Troll Town until Queen Poppy and Branch make a surprising discovery — there are other Troll worlds beyond their own, each defined by a different genre of music. When a mysterious threat puts all the Trolls across the land in danger, Poppy, Branch, and their band of friends must embark on an epic quest through unfamiliar terrain to do the impossible: create harmony among the diverse Trolls to unite them against certain doom.

Trolls World Tour is set for release April 2020 and sees Anna Kendrick (Poppy), Justin Timberlake (Branch), James Corden (Biggie), Caroline Hjelt (Chenille), Aino Jawo (Satin), Ron Funches (Cooper), Kunal Nayyar (Guy Diamond), Walt Dohrn (Smidge) reprising their roles alongside newcomers Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Mary J. Blige (The Umbrella Academy), Kelly Clarkson (UglyDolls), Gustavo Dudamel, (The Nutcracker and the Four Realms)  Kenan Thompson (The Grinch), Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey), Chance the Rapper (Slice), Anthony Ramos (Hamilton), Karan Soni (Deadpool 2), Flula Borg (Pitch Perfect 2), J Balvin and George Clinton.
