Zazie Beetz would be surprised if she never played Domino again

October 11, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Joker and Deadpool 2 star Zazie Beetz has stated in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, that she would be surprised if she never got the opportunity to reprise her role of the lucky superhero Domino.

“I realize that nobody knows anything right now, but would you be surprised if you never played Domino again?,” THR asked.

“Yes,” Beetz replied with a laugh, before going on to discuss the overlapping shooting schedules between Deadpool 2 and Atlanta.

“Deadpool 2 and Atlanta did overlap in terms of shooting time, but we have wonderful teams that figured it out. So, there was an availability question, but ultimately, we made it work as far as I understand. I hope I wasn’t cut out of stuff because of Deadpool,” she added with a laugh. “But there was a couple of weeks of overlap in terms of shooting.”

After the recent merger of Disney and Fox, there is still no official announcement on the future of the Deadpool franchise, and whether the Merc with a Mouth is going to continue in his separate universe or be included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, it would be great to see Ryan Reynolds, Zazie Beetz, and Josh Brolin reprising their roles as Deadpool, Domino, and Cable respectively in the future.

Would you like to see Zazie Beetz return as Domino on the big screen? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @flickeringmyth…
