The Supreme Intelligence made its Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in last year’s Captain Marvel, but rather than appearing as a giant floating green head, as depicted in the comic books, the Kree’s AI ruler took on the form of the person most admired by whoever it’s communicating with (in the case of Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers, that would be Annette Bening’s Mar-Vell).
However, as a screenshot from an unfinished deleted scene from Marvel’s Infinity Saga box-set shows, the studio did consider including a comic book accurate depiction of the Supreme Intelligence during its final confrontation with Carol; check it out here, courtesy of MCU Cosmic…

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
Captain Marvel is being directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Mississippi Grind) and sees Brie Larson (Kong: Skull Island) leading the cast as Carol Danvers alongside Samuel L.
