Margot Robbie, Angelina Jolie and Jamie Foxx reportedly wanted for David O. Russell’s new film

January 24, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Last week it was revealed that David O. Russell is set to reunite with The Fighter and American Hustle actor Christian Bale for an as-yet-untitled film, and now we have word on more potential additions to the cast.

As reported by Collider, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star Margot Robbie is being eyed for the female lead, a role that was previously earmarked for Russell’s frequent collaborator Jennifer Lawrence, while Oscar winners Angelina Jolie and Jamie Foxx are also wanted for supporting parts.

While details on the project are being kept under wraps, Collider stats that the film is going by the working title of Amsterdam and “will follow the unlikely partnership between a doctor and a lawyer.”

The film has been put on the fast track by New Regency, with filming set to get underway in April. With that in mind, expect the cast to come together quickly on this one.
