Wrestling meets horror in trailer for WrestleMassacre

May 29, 2020 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its release this June, a trailer, poster and images have arrived online from director Brad Twigg’s upcoming horror WrestleMassacre which stars Richie Acevedo (a.k.a. The Cuban Assassin) as Randy, a wrestling-obsessed groundskeeper who goes on a bloody rampage to punish those who wronged him. Also featuring in the cast are a number of pro-wrestling talent, including the likes of Rene Dupree, Nikolai Volkoff, Tony Atlas, Jimmy Valiant, Manny Fernandez, ODB and The Sandman.

Randy is an awkward groundskeeper who is obsessed with professional wrestling. Longing for a sense of belonging with grandiose dreams of becoming a wrestling superstar, he is only met with abject humiliation. A brutal shaming at a local wrestling school pushes Randy over the edge and sets out on a blood soaked rampage to punish those who wronged him.

WrestleMassacre is set for a DVD and VOD release on June 16th.
