March 12, 2020 by Amie Cranswick

Appearing on Good Morning America this week, actress Billie Lourd has been speaking about her experience shooting Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker without her mother, the late great Carrie Fisher, as part of the cast of the final chapter of the Skywalker Saga.

During the interview, we’re also treated to clips from a documentary on the upcoming home entertainment release of the movie, which shows how the cast and crew shot the scenes featuring General Leia, as well as offering up a look at Lourd standing in for her mother in the flashback sequence where the Skywalker twins practise their lightsaber skills on the Forest Moon of Endor.
