Exit the Gungeon arrives on Nintendo Switch and Steam

March 18, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Devolver Digital and developers Dodge Roll and Singlecore Games have announced that Exit the Gungeon is now available on Steam and Nintendo Switch.  This latest adventure in the Gungeonverse is a bullet hell dungeon climber that follows the adventures of the ‘Gungeoneers’.  Watch the new launch trailer below….

In Exit the Gungeon players will battle against the last and most bitter of the Gundead, including enemies like Minecart Shotgun Kin, Bullet Cardinal, and Flying Fungun.  By using a range of different weapons and items, players will loot, dodge and explore a maze of rooms and corridors.

The Gungeon has been dramatically redesigned with improved room variety, increased room size and devious lifts.  There’s also big changes to how the game spawns and places enemies and if that isn’t enough of a challenge, veteran Gungeoneers can also try out a new increased challenge level.

Players will get to try out a number of different character-specific hats as they take on redesigned minigames and chat with a host of NPCs.

Exit the Gungeon is a bullet hell dungeon climber immediately following the adventures of the misfit ‘Gungeoneers’ and their journey for personal absolution in Enter the Gungeon. The Gungeon has become a paradox and is collapsing! Armed with an ever-changing weapon, an insatiable need to loot, and the trusty dodge roll, each of our heroes must ascend and escape via their own unique route of increasingly perilous elevators.

Exit the Gungeon is available now on Steam and the Nintendo eShop.
