Michael Giacchino to score Jurassic World: Dominion

Michael Giacchino is joining the upcoming Jurassic Park reunion, with Film Music Reporter revealing that the composer is set to score next year’s Jurassic World: Dominion.

Giachhino worked on both Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but his involvement with the franchise actually goes back much further than that, having produced music for 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park video game, as well as 1999’s Warpath: Jurassic Park.

Along with Dominion, Giacchino’s other upcoming credits include the Seth Rogen comedy An American Pickle, animated film Extinct, and Warner Bros. and DC Films’ The Batman.

Jurassic World: Dominion is being directed by Colin Trevorrow and features a cast that includes franchise returnees Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, Justice Smith, Danielle Pineda, Jake Johnson and Omar Sy along with new additions DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Mamoudou Athie (Patti Cake$), Scott Haze (Venom) and Dichen Lachman (Altered Carbon). It is set for release on June 21st 2021.
