Sophie Turner “deeply misses” Game of Thrones and would return “in a heartbeat”

March 4, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Sophie Turner, one of the former stars of Game of Thrones, says she “deeply misses” the show and would return if it were possible.

Now that HBO’s epic fantasy series Game of Thrones is all over, life for the actors who were a part of it is certainly very different. People like Sophie Turner grew up acting in the series so it’s easy to see why it might be difficult to move on.

While it’s unlikely Game of Thrones will ever be brought back (beyond spinoff series), Turner says she would love to return to Sansa and Westeros if it were possible. Speaking to ELLE, she said:

“I miss everything (about it). I really, deeply, deeply miss it. I miss the costumes. I miss the set. I miss the feeling that I got when I walked onto set in my costume, and that was incredibly empowering. I miss the people. I miss everything. I would go back to it in a heartbeat.”

Hopefully, Turner can learn to get her Game of Thrones fix by watching old episodes like the rest of us. And, who knows, perhaps someday there will be an opportunity to reprise the role of Sansa once more.
