The Turing Test to bring sci-fi themed puzzles to Google Stadia later this year

March 7, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Bulkhead Interactive has announced that their first-person puzzler The Turing Test will be coming soon to Google Stadia.  This challenging first-person puzzler takes players to a space station on one of Jupiter’s moons to solve the disappearance of its crew.  Bulkhead has released a new trailer (see below) announcing the upcoming release on Stadia and shows off some of the puzzles needing to be solved to unravel the mystery of the missing crew

In this remarkable sci-fi puzzler, take the role of Ava Turing, an International Space Agency (ISA) engineer sent to Europa to solve the mysterious disappearance of the ground crew that was stationed there.  Gaining access to the base, she finds no crew, no bodies, no trace of fighting or illness just a series of puzzles that have apparently been set by the missing ground crew and which, according to the station’s AI, can only be solved by a human.

Armed only with the Energy Manipulation Tool (EMT) players will need to use their ingenuity and skill, and think outside the box to complete the puzzles that the AI is incapable of doing.

The Turing Test features:

  • Use the EMT to transfer power between machines in a unique twist on gameplay mechanics and puzzle logic.
  • Switch between multiple perspectives to solve most challenging puzzles that The Turing Test has to offer.
  • Discover a story that gives players freedom to decide what happened to the ISA crew and which challenges the very concepts of human morality.

The Turing Test will be arriving digitally on Google Stadia in the near future.
