Runescape to take Desperate Measures later this month

July 8, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Jagex has announced a brand new chapter coming to Runescape on 27th July called Desperate Measures.  Desperate Measures is a direct follow up to last year’s Desperate Times storyand will allow players to further develop their Archaeology skills and uncover more information about the lore of the game world.

Desperate Measures continues the Elder Gods questline and will see players able to explore a brand new environment as well as use their recently introduced Archaeology skills to uncover the mysteries surrounding the dinosaur-infested island of Anachronia.   It will be up to players to investigate the Kerapac threat and discover more information about the race of powerful dragon-like creatures known as the Dragonkin.

The world of Gielinor is approaching a catastrophic upheaval, one that will affect all inhabitants.  Desperate Measures will set events in motion that will ultimately lead to the awakening of the Elder Gods and the Elder God Wars.

Desperate Measures is a direct follow up to last year’s Desperate Times narrative and will continue the Elder Gods questline. Desperate Measures will see players gathering a team and using their Archaeology abilities to discover new mysteries in the dinosaur-infested island of Anachronia.
