A colossal sea spider is unleashed in posters and trailer for Chinese creature feature Abyssal Spider

If you’ve a fear of spiders and / or the sea (or more specifically giant sea creatures), you may want to click away now as we’ve got a look at the official posters and trailer for the new Chinese monster movie Abyssal Spider. Check them out here…

Abyssal Spider follows the crew of a fishing boat who find themselves facing a battle for survival when they come under attack from arachnid sea monsters. The film is directed by Joe Chien and features a cast that includes Wang Yangming, Zheng Renshuo, Li Liren, and Ke Jiaying

Abyssal Spider is currently slated for release in China this September, but as yet there’s no word on U.K. or North American distribution.
