Kevin Costner and Diane Lane star in trailer for Let Him Go

Focus Features has released a poster and trailer for director Thomas Bezucha’s upcoming crime drama Let Him Go. Based on Larry Watson’s novel of the same name, the film features Man of Steel co-stars Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as a retired sheriff and his wife who grieving the loss of their son, set out to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid. Following the loss of their son, retired sheriff George Blackledge (Costner) and his wife Margaret (Lane) leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid in the Dakotas, headed by matriarch Blanche Weboy. When they discover the Weboys have no intention of letting the child go, George and Margaret are left with no choice but to fight for their family.

Let Him Go features a cast that also includes Lesley Manville, Jeffrey Donovan, Kayli Carter, Booboo Stewart, and Will Brittain.
