With just a month to go until the second season of The Boys premieres on Amazon Prime, a new blood-soaked trailer and a couple of posters have been released for the comic book adaptation which gives us a look at what to expect this series as Billy Butcher and the team, on the run from the law, continue their fight against the corrupt ‘superheroes’; check them out here…

In a more intense, more desperate Season 2 of THE BOYS, Butcher, Hughie and the team reel from their losses in Season 1. On the run from the law, they struggle to fight back against the Superheroes. As Vought, the company that manages the heroes, cashes in on the panic over the threat of Supervillains, and a new hero, Stormfront, shakes up the company and challenges an already unstable Homelander.
The Boys features a cast that includes Karl Urban (Thor: Ragnarok), Jack Quaid (The Hunger Games), Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad), Laz Alonso (Traffik), Antony Starr (American Gothic), Dominique McElligott (The Last Tycoon), Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl), Erin Moriarty (True Detective), Jessie T. Usher (Independence Day: Resurgence), Elisabeth Shue (Leaving Las Vegas), and Nathan Mitchell (iZombie). New additions to the cast for the second season include Aya Cash (You’re the Worst), Patton Oswalt (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Timeless stars Goran Visnjic and Claudia Doumit.
