American Horror Story will resume production in October, Ryan Murphy releases new teaser image

September 1, 2020 by Liam Waddington

Earlier this year, it was announced the upcoming tenth season of American Horror Story had delayed its production due to the ongoing global health crisis. However, creator Ryan Murphy has provided an update on the filming schedule for the tenth season as well as releasing a new teaser image.

Taking to Instagram, Murphy announced the tenth season of the FX series will finally begin filming this coming October as well as sharing an image of monstrous teeth.

With Murphy previously teasing a beach setting and now releasing an image of non-human teeth, the creator is possibly hinting that the latest season will move its focus onto aquatic horror – which would be a new theme for the long-running horror series.

While the theme hasn’t been officially confirmed as of right now, the cast for the upcoming tenth season is set to include American Horror Story regulars Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, and Angelica Ross, with Macaulay Culkin being the newest addition.
