Netflix begins production on Sex Education season 3

Netflix has announced production on the third season of the hit comedy Sex Education has begun with a behind-the-scenes video showcasing several members of the cast preparing to return to set.

Sex Education was originally set to begin filming in May before Netflix halted all production on their films and TV series due to the ongoing global health crisis. However, August was the latest producer Eleven could reportedly restart production as the show is reliant on filming during the longer British summer days.

Sex Education is written and created by Laurie Nunn, is directed by Ben Taylor, Alice Seabright and Sophie Goodhart and features a cast that includes Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, Aimee Lou Wood, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Chaneil Kular, Simone Ashley, Mimi Keene, Tanya Reynolds, Mikael Persbrandt, Patricia Allison, Jim Howick, Rakhee Thakrar, Samantha Spiro, James Purefoy, Chris Jenks, JoJo Macari, and Allistair Petrie.
