After a hectic time summer in the World of Tanks SumerSlam event Wargaming has announced the start of Season 2 featuring the new collaboration with Hot Wheels. Until 7th December, World of Tanks Console players can take to the battlefields to earn a range of rewards from premium time to boosters and will even get to command special Hot Wheels themed tanks. A new trailer can be seen below, plus there’s a trailer explaining the new Tanker Rewards Program.
The special Hot Wheels themed tanks waiting to be claimed by players include the Tiger Shark Spähpanzer. This tank will be available to all players who battle hard and get to Level 100. For those who can’t wait that long, it’s also available in the store in an individual bundle.
Season 2 introduces more amazing Season Pass additions with a number of new tanks to take into battle, including the Trailblazer Spahpanzer Tank, the Rodger Dodger E 75 TS and the Tiger Shark Spähpanzer. These vehicles come with their own garage slots and all are available to purchase in the store if you want to skip going through the levels to earn them.
Season 2 also brings a World of Tanks Hot Wheels Ultimate pass to players. Those who purchase this will be able to claim the colossal Bone Shaker TS-5 tank and crew plus many more rewards.
As well as all the above, US and European players can participate in the Season 2 reward program giving them the opportunity to earn rewards and prizes from points collected. Points can be gained from playing a player vs. player, multiplayer or ranked battles and earn at least the minimum XP required per tank tier. A TOP PRIZE of $10,000 is up for grabs along with an invite to a local private event that can be redeemed once this difficult time is over.
