First teaser trailer for Netflix and David Fincher’s Mank

David Fincher is back with a brand new film Mank, which dives into a fairly iconic name in the world of film. Fincher looks to tackle the story of screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz during one of the most infamous times in his life, the race to finish the script for Citizen Kane.

In this first look at the film, we see Gary Oldman tackling the titular role. He’s joined by a stellar cast that includes Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, Arliss Howard, Tom Pelphrey, Sam Troughton, Ferdinand Kingsley, Tuppence Middleton, Tom Burke, and Charles Dance.

1930s Hollywood is re-evaluated through the eyes of scathing social critic and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz as he races to finish the screenplay of Citizen Kane for Orson Welles.

David Fincher directs MANK. The film stars Academy Award Winner Gary Oldman, Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, Arliss Howard, Tom Pelphrey, Sam Troughton, Ferdinand Kingsley, Tuppence Middleton, Tom Burke, and Charles Dance.

Mank opens in select theaters this November and releases globally on Netflix on December 4th, 2020.
