Red Stewart presents more cyberpunk games to check out before Cyberpunk 2077…
Is it fair to call Cyberpunk 2077 the most hyped game of 2020? Many mega AAA titles have come out in the months since this grim year began, yet none have accumulated as much hype as CD Projekt Red’s upcoming action RPG that takes a cynical look into a dystopian future full of corporate hegemony, violence, crime, and cybernetic enhancements.
Still, we’d be lying if we said Cyberpunk 2077 was the first game to do this, or even to do it (hypothetically) well. Plenty of other developers have taken advantage of the genre to give their own spin on a theoretical techno future. And if you’re interested in 2077, you’ll be interested in these five cyberpunk classics.
