Blade Runner 2019: Los Angeles Artist’s Edition set for release in January

December 25, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Titan Comics has announced the upcoming release of Blade Runner 2019: Los Angeles Artist’s Edition, a 128-page collection of Andres Guinaldo’s black and white artwork, unseen sketches, thumbnails, layouts and more from the first arc of the acclaimed Blade Runner 2019 comic book series. Take a look at a preview here…

Blade Runner 2019: Los Angeles is an all-new original comic story co-written by Michael Green, the screenwriter of  the Oscar-winning Blade Runner 2049. Now you can dive into Andres Guinaldo’s expansion of the iconic world of Blade Runner with this special Artist’s Edition, showing you its creation from the very first pencil sketch.

This collection of Andres Guinaldo’s artwork includes never-before-seen layouts, roughs, thumbnails, sketches and cover roughs, giving a unique glimpse into the process of the artist. The collection also includes an interview between Andres and the writers Michael Green (co-screenplay writer Blade Runner 2049, Murder on the Orient Express) and Mike Johnson (New York Times-bestselling writer of Star Trek, Superman/Batman, Picard).

Blade Runner 2019: Los Angeles Artist’s Edition will go on sale on January 26th 2021.
