Dynamite announces James Bond: Agent of SPECTRE

December 20, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Dynamite Entertainment has announced the upcoming launch of a brand new 007 adventure, James Bond: Agent of SPECTRE, from writer Christos Gage and artist Luca Casalanguida (James Bond: Kill Chain).

“I’ve been lucky enough to work on many iconic characters in my career, but this is my first time writing Bond, and I’m having a blast,” said Gage said. “Throwing him into a web of intrigue with his archenemy Blofeld as an untrustworthy ally is thrilling enough, but to have the amazing Luca Casalanguida as my artistic collaborator, not to mention covers by legends Steve Epting and Sean Phillips, is an embarrassment of riches. They give me a license to kill … creatively … and I plan to use it!”

According to the official press release, James Bond: Agent of SPECTRE will see Bond recruited into the terrorist organization by Ernst Stavro Blofeld to end an internal power struggle that could have apocalyptic consequences.

Look for James Bond: Agent of SPECTRE #1 in March 2021.
