Season One of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War arrives next week

December 7, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Activision has revealed a brand new cinematic trailer for Season One of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (see below) which shows off some of the features that CoD players can expect to see when it arrives on 16th December.  Despite the short delay in the first season’s release it looks like the best things do indeed come to those who wait.

In the trailer we get to see new operator Vikhor “Stitch” Kuzmin, an ex-KGB soldier and current leader of the Nova 6 program (a chemical weapon).  It also turns out that the Nova 6 program is being carried out on Rebirth Island, the location that Russell Adler and his team infiltrated and shut down in the 60s.  Adler has a very dangerous enemy in Stitch, and Rebirth Island is a trap that Adler and his CIA strike team now find themselves stuck in.

During Season One, players will get to enjoy double weapon XP, Black Ops Cold War double XP and a good amount of free content as Black Ops Cold War arrives in Warzone.

A trap has been set. A CIA safehouse has been hit. And an old enemy returns to get his revenge.

After storming an experimental Nova 6 production site on Rebirth Island, Russell Adler has made a powerful enemy in Vikhor “Stitch” Kuzmin, the ex-KGB leader of the Nova 6 program. And Stitch is looking to settle the score.

Now, Adler and his CIA strike team find themselves trapped, and surrounded by enough Nova 6 nerve gas to throw the world off its axis.

Get ready for Season One arriving in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War next week.
