Netflix releases images from Shadow and Bone

Netflix has released seven images from its upcoming adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s ‘Grishaverse‘ book series Shadow and Bone which offers a first look at Ben Barnes as The Darkling/General Kirigan, Archie Renaux as Malyen Oretsev and Jessie Mei Li as Alina Starkov, Kit Young as Jesper Fahey, Amita Suman as Inej Ghafa, Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker, Danielle Galligan as Nina Zenik, and Calahan Skogman as Matthais; take a look here…

In a world cleaved in two by a massive barrier of perpetual darkness, where unnatural creatures feast on human flesh, a young soldier uncovers a power that might finally unite her country. But as she struggles to hone her power, dangerous forces plot against her. Thugs, thieves, assassins and saints are at war now, and it will take more than magic to survive.

Shadow and Bone arrives on Netflix on April 23rd.
