Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon casts four roles

As Martin Scorsese continues development on his long-awaited Killers of the Flower Moon, he has just cast four roles with Tatanka Means (I Know This Much is True), Michael Abbott Jr (The Death of Dick Long), Pat Healy (Bad Education) and Scott Shepherd (Bridge of Spies) all joining the film.

Means will play a character named John Wren. Abbott and Healy will play federal agents wFrank Smith and John Burger respectively. Their characters will work with Tom White (Plemons) on the investigation of the murders in the Osage Nation. Shepherd will play Bryan Burkhart, the brother of DiCaprio’s Ernest Burkhart.

The four new additions join a cast that includes Leonardo Dicaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons and Lily Gladstone. Also starring are William Belleau, Louis Cancelmi, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins and Jillian Dion.

Killers of the Flower Moon takes place in the 1920s and tells the story of one of the FBI’s first major investigations – the grisly murders of members of the Native American Osage Nation, whose land in Oklahoma sat above a large reserve of crude oil.
