Marvel’s Black Cat is on the prowl with Pride Month Variant Cover

May 8, 2021 by Gary Collinson

Marvel is commemorating Pride Month this June with a series of variant covers from legendary artist Phil Jimenez, and after unveiling some first look artwork back in March featuring Iceman, Daken, America Chavez, and Northstar, we now have a look at the Pride variant cover for Black Cat #7; check it out here…

“I’m always blown away at how different things are now in comics when it comes to LGBTQ+ representation than when I started, and Marvel’s dedication to that inclusion,” said Jimenez. “As an (ahem!) older gay creator, I’m always thrilled by the opportunity to draw iconic LGBTQ+ characters from Marvel’s past and present, and grateful to contribute to Marvel’s future: one that truly represents the world — and the wonderful diversity of humanity — right outside your window.”
