Dr. Jonathan Crane is coming to Titans, with Deadline reporting that Vincent Kartheiser (Mad Men, The Social Dilemma) is set to portray the classic Batman villain Scarecrow in the third season of HBO Max’s live-action DC series.
As per the brief character description, Kartheiser’s Jonathan Crane is described as “an inmate at Arkham Asylum who used to terrorize Gotham City using toxins to exploit his enemies’ phobias.” Kartheiser follows in the footsteps of Cillian Murphy (The Dark Knight Trilogy) and Charlie Tahan and David W. Thompson (Gotham) in bringing the villain to life.

Titans season 3 sees the return of Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Curran Walters as Jason Todd, Minka Kelly as Dove, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Joshua Orpin as Conner Kent, Damaris Lewis as Blackfire, and Ian Glen as Bruce Wayne, alongside series newcomers Savannah Welch as Barbara Gordon and Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake.
