Stephen Lang returns in the trailer for Don’t Breathe 2

June 30, 2021 by Matt Rodgers

2016’s Don’t Breathe was a really rather good tension riddled home-invasion horror which scared up over $150M at the worldwide box-office, so now Stephen Lang is back as “The Blind Man” to try and scare the bejesus and the bucks out of audiences all over again.

Directed by Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe co-writer Rodo Sayagues, this sequel looks as though it’s attempting to reposition the first films bogeyman as something of an avenging angel, with Stephen Lang’s terrifying military veteran on a mission to rescue a kidnapped girl. Take a look at IGN‘s exclusive trailer below….

The sequel is set in the years following the initial deadly home invasion, where Norman Nordstrom (Stephen Lang) lives in quiet solace until his past sins catch up to him.

Screen Gems and Stage 6 Films present, in association with Ghost House Pictures, a Bad Hombre production, Don’t Breathe 2. Starring Stephen Lang, Brendan Sexton III, and Madelyn Grace. Directed by Rodo Sayagues.

Don’t Breathe 2 is currently scheduled for release on August 13, 2021.
