Team17 announces upcoming games and new updates

June 14, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Team17 has announced a wealth of news regarding upcoming and recently released games such as the console launch of the 50 vs. 50 strategic shooter Hell Let Loose.  They also announced some new free content coming to Overcooked to celebrate its fifth anniversary.

Hell Let Loose is a strategic, World War II FPS that will leave Steam Early Access on 27th July.  The full Steam release coincides with the arrival of Russian forces within the game along with 2 brand-new maps, Kursk and Stalingrad that will take players to the Eastern Front.  Hell Let Loose is also scheduled to launch on the Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 5 later this year.

Go back to the 1970s with Honey, I Joined a Cult, due to launch into Steam Early Access this September.  Become the manager of a cult in this management game and take charge of everything from gaining new recruits to helping the egotistical leader.  Take control of building the cult headquarters and choose where to position everything, even the toilets.

Coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on 22nd June is magnetic puzzle-platformer Super Magbot.  This 2D platformer has no control for jump, instead players will have to master their magnetic ability to move from platform to platform.  A demo is on Steam now so give it a try.

Take control of a shelter in the post-apocalyptic resource management sim Sheltered 2 this summer on Steam.  This sequel to the 2015 fan-favourite brings new challenges to players with deeper strategic gameplay and a Factions System that will introduce raids as another hazard on top of dehydration, starvation and radiation poisoning.

Greak: Memories of Azur is a hand-drawn adventure coming to Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch and Steam on 17th August.  This adventure follows the story of siblings Greak, Adara and Raydel as they attempt to flee their home of Azur after a deadly invasion.  take control of the three simultaneously and use their unique abilities to get past puzzles.

The Overcooked! franchise celebrates its fifth anniversary in Overcooked! All You Can Eat on 9th August with the release of the free DLC on PC and consoles.  Look out for more information coming
