The Boys actor Antony Starr says the third season is his favourite one so far

With the third season of Amazon’s The Boys currently in development, Homelander actor Antony Starr has not only stated that the show’s third outing is one of the most enjoyable times he’s had on a TV set but he has also claimed that the latest season is his favourite one so far.

“Oh, my God, [Season 3] is hands down one of the most enjoyable seasons of TV I’ve had the good fortune of being involved with!” Starr said in an interview with TVLine. “I had a great time on Season 2, and I thought we did something really cool there where we took it next level in many ways from Season 1, and really, it’s just the extension of that.”

“[It] is my favorite season for many reasons that I can’t tell you about,” Starr continued. “I’m always curious to see what the writers, what these crazy people, are going to cook up, and it’s a pretty great feeling in Season 3 to still be surprised and excited every time you turn a page in the material. All I can say is I truly believe the fans are going to freak out at Season 3.”

New additions to The Boys Season 3 include Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead) as Crimson Countess, Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) as Soldier Boy, Katia Winter (Sleepy Hollow) as Little Nina, Sean Patrick Flanery (Dexter) as Gunpowder, Nick Wechsler (Revenge) as Blue Hawk, and Miles Gaston Villanueva (Law & Order: True Crime: —The Menendez Murders) as Supersonic.

Expected returnees include Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Tomer Capon, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Erin Moriarty, Jessie Usher, Nathan Mitchell, Chace Crawford, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, and Giancarlo Esposito.
