Marvel’s She-Hulk Disney+ series adds Arrow actor Josh Segarra

July 22, 2021 by Liam Waddington

Deadline is reporting that Josh Segarra is the latest addition to the cast of Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk in a currently undisclosed role.

Segarra is perhaps best known for his role as Adrian Chase, aka Prometheus, in the fifth season of The CW’s Arrow series. He also has other credits including Orange Is the New Black, The Other Two, Chicago P.D., and AJ and the Queen.

Segarra will star alongside Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk as well as Ginger Gonzaga as Walter’s best friend, Tim Roth who will be reprising his Incredible Hulk role as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton), and Jameela Jamil as Titania.

She-Hulk will follow Jennifer Walters (Maslany), a criminal defence lawyer who finds herself transformed into the sensational She-Hulk after an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner. The series has been described as a half-hour legal comedy to be directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia with Jessica Gao as the lead writer.
