PlayStation Plus Games for July 2021 include Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds and A Plague Tale

July 1, 2021 by Andrew Newton

The Playstation Plus games for July have been revealed and it’s a month that is bound to make fans of action games excited.  Get ready for a gun toting, body slamming, rat avoiding July.

Available for all Playstation Plus members now is Virtual Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown.  This enhanced edition of Virtual Fighter 5 includes lots of new features such as new music, updated graphics, a brand new user interface, new starting cinematics and lots of online features like Challenges.  All the characters and game modes are there from the original game so players will be able to take part in battles with one of 19 characters then customise them in different outfits.

From 6th July there’s WWE 2K Battlegrounds available to download.  There’s a wealth of of famous wrestlers to play as in this arcade action wrestling game, including superstars like Hulk Hogan, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.  If arcade wrestling is your thing you’ll want to download this.

Also available on the same date is 2015’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.  Enjoy a campaign that take players to 2065, and a world that has been altered through climate change and the advent of new technologies that change the way battles are fought.  If the single player campaign isn’t your thing then there are multiple multiplayer modes to enjoy and the whole Zombies story to enjoy with friends.

Finally, PS5 players will be able to enjoy Asobo Studio’s hit action, stealth survival game, A Plague Tale: Innocence.  Help Amica De Rune to avoid capture or death from various soldiers, hunters and rats as she leads her brother Hugo to safety.

All these games will be available to download until 2nd August.
