August 11, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Owlcat Games and META Publishing have today announced that their RPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will be arriving on both the Xbox One and Playstation 4 on 1st March 2022.  A new gameplay trailer introducing companions, mythic transformations, combat and more can be seen below.  Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is still scheduled to release on PC on 2nd September.

In Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous the realm of Sarkoris when a rift to the abyssal planes of existence was opened by Areelu Vorlesh, allowing hordes of demonic creatures through led by the evil Demon Lords Deskari and Baphomet.  It’s up to players to join the crusade against these demonic abominations, wield unimaginable powers and save the world.

By choosing a mythic path, players will be able to use a unique set of skills and transform into a powerful being such as a celestial Angel, a raging Demon, a powerful Lich, a cunning Trickster or a wise Gold Dragon.  Mythic transformations will allow players to increase their characters rank and gain new abilities and skills.  Each mythic path also provides its own distinctive narrative.

The game’s Crusader mode will allow players to choose their general and army size then explore the map.  There will be the option for animal companions which are customisable and come with their own full-scale progression systems.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will launch on PC on 2nd September via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG and will release on consoles next March.
