Amazon’s The Wheel of Time gets a first trailer

September 2, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Amazon Prime Video has released the first trailer for The Wheel of Time, the upcoming adaptation of author Robert Jordan’s fantasy novel series which follows the adventures of the powerful Moiraine (Rosamund Pike) as she embarks on a dangerous journey across the world with five individuals – one of which she believes is prophesied as the Dragon Reborn, who could either save or destroy humanity; watch it here…

Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine, a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.

The Wheel of Time features a cast that includes Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Alvaro Morte, Sophie Okonedo, Kae Alexander, Madeleine Madden, Zoe Robins, Michael McElhatton, Barney Harris, and Marcus Rutherford.

The Wheel of Time arrives on Prime Video on November 19th.
