Matt Reeves and Michael Giacchino celebrate Batman Day with new The Batman image and theme tease

September 19, 2021 by Ricky Church

Yesterday DC celebrated Batman Day in honour of the Dark Knight with lots of little events. As fans shared their love for Batman, The Batman director Matt Reeves shared a new image from the film while composer Michael Giacchino teased more of his theme in the upcoming film.

With The Batman set for a theatrical release next March, Reeves has been hard at work completing his cut of the film in the post-production phase. He shared am image of him in the edit suite with a new image of Robert Pattinson’s Batman on the monitor.

Wow, I have been away so long…! Just popping my head out of the editing room for a moment to say #HappyBatmanDay ! Can’t wait to share a lot more with you all four weeks from today at #DCFanDome ! (Sorry about the messy desk #LongHours) #TheBatman @TheBatman pic.twitter.com/ye0u1xQo65

Both Reeves and Giacchino said fans can expect to see and hear much more at this year’s DC Fandome event, which begins October 16.
