Netflix shares opening title sequence for Cowboy Bebop live-action series

September 25, 2021 by EJ Moreno

One of the most acclaimed anime series is getting a live-action adaptation at Netflix, and we have the first glimpse at the Cowboy Bebop opening credits released today during Netflix’s TUDUM event.

Many fans will be overjoyed to hear the original Cowboy Bebop theme song used here, with the style of the credits bringing to life the anime style.

Per Netflix, the series is an “action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka ‘cowboys,’ all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them.”
