Sandra Bullock is an ex-con seeking redemption in The Unforgivable trailer

Following yesterday’s teaser, Netflix has released the first trailer for the upcoming drama The Unforgivable. Directed by, Nora Fingscheidt, the film stars Sandra Bullock as Ruth Slater, a woman recently released from prison after serving a 20 year sentence for a violent crime who is struggling to re-enter society while searching for her estranged sister. Released from prison after serving a sentence for a violent crime, Ruth Slater (Bullock) re-enters a society that refuses to forgive her past. Facing severe judgment from the place she once called home, her only hope for redemption is finding the estranged younger sister she was forced to leave behind.

The film features a cast that also includes Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Richard Thomas, Linda Emond, Aisling Franciosi, Rob Morgan, and Viola Davis.

The Unforgivable arrives in select cinemas on November 24th, and on Netflix on December 10th.
