Showtime has released the first images from the upcoming drama series The First Lady, offering a look at Viola Davis as Michelle Obama, O-T Fagbenle as Barack Obama, Kathleen Garrett as Laura Bush, Lexi Underwood as Malia Obama, Regina Taylor as Marian Robinson, Saniyya Sidney as Sasha Obama, Dakota Fanning as Susan Ford, Michelle Pfeiffer as Betty Ford, Aaron Eckhart as Jerry Ford, Cailee Spaeny as Anna Roosevelt, and Gillian Anderson as Eleanor Roosevelt; check them out here, courtesy of EW…

In the East Wing of the White House, many of history’s most impactful and world-changing decisions have been hidden from view, made by America’s charismatic, complex and dynamic First Ladies. This series will peel back the curtain on the personal and political lives of three unique, enigmatic women, tracing their journeys to Washington through interweaving storylines with an enlightening intimacy, with season one focusing on Michelle Obama, Betty Ford and Eleanor Roosevelt. 

The First Lady is set to premiere on Showtime in 2022.
