Kaitlyn Dever shares first look at Romeo & Juliet reimaging Rosaline

Described as a reimaging of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet from the perspective of Romeo’s jilted lover, Booksmart and Dopesick star Kaitlyn Dever has shared the first look at her character from the forthcoming comedy Rosaline.

The actress took to Instagram to reveal the picture and captioned it “Here’s the first look photo for #rosaline ❤️ Directed by @karen__maine !!! Coming to @hulu 2022. I am SO excited for this one:)”

The 20th Century Studios film is set to arrive on Hulu in 2022 and is from Starstruck and Yes, God, Yes director Karen Maine.

Rosaline has been adapted from Rebecca Serle’s 2010 novel When You Were Mine by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, the writers behind 500 Days of Summer, and also stars Kyle Allen (West Side Story) as Romeo and Isabela Merced (Dora and the Lost City of Gold) as Juliet, alongside Minnie Driver, Christopher McDonald and Bradley Whitford.
