Charlie Cox will play Daredevil in any future Marvel projects, confirms Kevin Feige

December 6, 2021 by EJ Moreno

Delighting many, Daredevil is heading to the MCU proper… and he’s being played by the fan-favourite, Charlie Cox!

Yes, the man who starred in three seasons of Daredevil on Netflix will make his way into future Marvel Studios’ projects, but nothing is locked in for sure yet. CinemaBlend broke the story late Sunday evening, reporting a direct quote from Kevin Feige himself.

Speaking to CinemaBlend, the Marvel Studios chief said: “If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.”

Sean O’Connell notes in his reporting that Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock could appear in anything ranging from She-Hulk to Hawkeye. Cox has also been long-rumored for Spider-Man: No Way Home, but there’s been no official confirmation on that just yet, nor whether we might expect to see any more of Netflix’s Marvel heroes back in their respective roles.

Nonetheless, fans will likely be delighted at Feige’s comments as Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil found a place in many comic book lovers’ hearts. Cox starred in three seasons of Daredevil on Netflix while also appearing in other shows like The Defenders. If Cox does appear in any upcoming films (such as this month’s No Way Home) it will be the first time Daredevil has been on the big screen since the 2003 Ben Affleck-led film.
