The White Lotus invites F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Tom Hollander and Haley Lu Richardson for season two

January 19, 2022 by Ricky Church

The second season of HBO Max’s The White Lotus has added several guests to its new cast. Joining the season will be F. Murray Abraham (Mythic Quest), Adam DiMarco (The Order), Tom Hollander (Bohemian Rhapsody) and Haley Lu Richardson (Five Feet Apart) as series regulars. They join the previously announced Michael Imperioli and Aubrey Plaza.

The first season of The White Lotus followed a group of vacationers at a Hawaiian resort and saw all sorts of drama with both the guests and staff over the course of their stay. The second season will “leave Hawaii behind for a new location and is expected to follow a different group of vacationers at another White Lotus property.”

Abraham plays Bert Di Grasso, “an elderly man traveling with his son, Dominic Di Grasso (Imperioli)” while DiMarco will play his grandson and Imperioli’s son Albie, “a recent college graduate.” Hollander is Quentin, “an English expat, vacationing with his friends and his nephew”, while Richardson plays Portia, “a young woman traveling with her boss” who may be Tanya McQuoid, played by Jennifer Coolidge, the only character returning from the first season.

The social satire series “follows the vacations of various hotel guests over the span of a week as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. But with each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travelers, the hotel’s cheerful employees and the idyllic locale itself.”

The first season of The White Lotus featured a cast that included Murray Barlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario, Fred Hechinger, Jake Lacy, Brittany O’Grady, Natasha Rothwell, Sydney Sweeney, and Steve Zahn.
