The Bubble trailer teases pandemic-era celebrity moviemaking hijinks

Ever wonder what it’s like for filmmakers trying to make a movie during COVID protocols? Judd Apatow is giving audiences a glimpse of his new comedy coming to Netflix.

Teased by Netflix, The Bubble sees a star-studded cast attempt to make a movie during the trying times. Per Netflix: “You were probably wondering: What the heck is Cliff Beasts, and why have I never heard of this franchise? THE BUBBLE follows the making of Cliff Beasts 6: Battle for Everest: Memories of a Requim, the sixth installment of the ’23rd largest Dino franchise ever'”.

A comedy about a group of actors and actresses stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel attempting to complete a sequel to an action franchise film about flying dinosaurs.

The Bubble is co-written and directed by Judd Apatow and stars Karen Gillan, Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova, David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, Leslie Mann, Pedro Pascal, Peter Serafinowicz, Vir Das, Rob Delaney, Galen Hopper, Samson Kayo, Guz Khan, Nick Kocher, Ross Lee, Harry Trevaldwyn, and Danielle Vitalis.

The Bubble will premiere on Netflix on April 1st.
