Netflix has released a poster and trailer for the upcoming anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners which takes place in the world of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 and follows a street kid who takes up a job as an Edgerunner – a.k.a. cyberpunk – in order to stay alive in the tech-obsessed Night City; take a look here…
The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners arrives on Netflix this September.
