Billy Magnussen joins Netflix’s Spy Kids reboot

July 24, 2022 by Ricky Church

Netflix’s reboot of the Spy Kids franchise has added Billy Magnussen (No Time to Die) to its cast, per Deadline.

Magnussen joins a cast that includes Gina Rodriguez (Jane The Virgin), Zachary Levi (Shazam! Fury of the Gods), Everly Carganilla (The Afterparty) and Connor Esterson in his feature film debut. They will star as the new family of secret agents in the reboot.

The Spy Kids reboot is being produced, written and directed by Robert Rodriguez and follows what happens when the children of the world’s greatest secret agents unwittingly help a powerful game developer unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, leading them to become spies themselves to save their parents and the world.
