The Walking Dead: Last Mile kicks off massive 4-month event

July 13, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Skybound Entertainment and Genvid Entertainment have announced the start of an epic four month long event for their Facebook exclusive The Walking Dead: Last Mile.

With this event The Walking Dead world will be shaped by the audience through live interactive streams hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown (The Talking Dead) and Felicia Day (Supernatural) that will be shown exclusively on Facebook Watch.

The Walking Dead: Last Mile’s new story starts with the first episode of the weekly interactive live stream on Facebook Watch which airs at midnight in the UK or 4pm PT.  In the first live stream Yvette Nicole Brown and Felicia Day will set up the story and explain how viewers can help affect the survivors’ journey and ultimately the Walking Dead world.  Throughout the regular livestreams, the duo will discuss the story with special guests, reveal key details made by the audience and also have Felicia Day play the game herself alongside the community.

This new venture into the Walking Dead universe launches in open beta today to begin the four week Prologue which will set up the story and provide the developers the opportunity to collect and act upon fan feedback.

“The Walking Dead: Last Mile is a bold and exciting new expansion for TWD,” said Robert Kirkman, Chairman of Skybound Entertainment and creator of the The Walking Dead. “Throughout the history of TWD, characters are forced to make hard choices with serious consequences. For the first time in TWD:LM, fans will make those choices together, as a community. The results will not only change the fate of those characters but also their future in the franchise.”

The Walking Dead: Last Mile is available exclusively on Facebook Gaming.
