Black Sabbath, Die Hard and lots of lazers feature in the trailer for Rick and Morty season 6

August 12, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

It used to be that we’d have to wait years for a new season of the the Emmy-winning Rick and Morty, but Adult Swim have released a brand new trailer for season 6 of Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon’s animated comedy, announcing that it lands on Adult Swim as soon as September 4th.

Orchestrated to the number one song on Rick’s playlist – Black Sabbath’s ‘Paranoid’ – the familiar chaos features references to Die Hard, hints that Jerry and Rick are going to be forced to go on more missions together, a prominence of Summer, and lots of animated action.

Check out the trailer here…

“Created and executive produced by Dan Harmon (Community) and Justin Roiland (Solar Opposites), the half-hour comedy follows sociopathic genius scientist Rick Sanchez (Roiland), as he drags his inherently timid grandson, Morty (also Roiland) on insanely dangerous adventures throughout the universe. While living with the family of his daughter Beth (Sarah Chalke), he also is kno

wn to rope her into his intergalactic escapades, along with his son-in-law Jerry (Chris Parnell) and his granddaughter Summer (Spencer Grammer).”

Rick and Morty season 6 premieres on Adult Swim on September 4th.
