Jessica Biel true crime series Candy coming to Disney+ UK in October

August 25, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Disney+ has announced an October UK streaming release for Candy, the  Candy, the crime drama series based on the disturbing true story of Candy Montgomery (Jessica Biel), a small town housewife who brutally murdered her friend; check out the poster and trailer here…

Candy Montgomery is a 1980 housewife and mother who did everything right—good husband, two kids, nice house, even the careful planning and execution of transgressions—but when the pressure of conformity builds within her, her actions scream for just a bit of freedom. With deadly results.

Candy sees Jessica Biel joined in the cast by Timothy Simons, Pablo Schreiber, and Raúl Esparza. It is set to premiere on Disney+ in the UK on October 12th.
