Ryan Gosling joining the team for Margot Robbie’s Ocean’s 11 reboot

August 22, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

It seems that Margot Robbie has used her down time on the set of Barbie to enlist co-star Ryan Gosling for her Ocean’s 11 reboot over at Warner Bros.

According to Variety Gosling is in talks to star in the 60s set prequel, which Robbie is producing alongside Jay Roach, with the Austin Powers helmer also set to direct.

The script is being written by Carrie Solomon and will reportedly be set in Europe in an “original” Ocean’s story that will be unconnected to either the original film or the reboot series.

Ocean’s 11 would be yet another ‘coming soon’ to add to Gosling’s growing schedule of films. what with the aforementioned Barbie set for release in 2023, he also has Universal’s The Fall Guy reboot alongside Emily Blunt, a reunion with The Place Beyond the Pines director Derek Cianfrance for the Wolfman remake, as well as the sequel to Netflix’s $200M action-bore The Gray Man.
