Ahead of its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival this coming Tuesday, a poster and trailer have been released for the western thriller Dead for a Dollar.
Directed by legendary filmmaker Walter Hill, the film stars Christoph Waltz as a famed bounty hunter who encounters his sworn enemy (Willem Dafoe), an outlaw who he sent to prison years before, while on a mission to track down and return the wife (Rachel Brosnahan) of a business man who is being held hostage.
Veteran bounty hunter Max Borlund is deep into Mexico where he encounters professional gambler and outlaw Joe Cribbens – a sworn enemy he sent to prison years before. Max is on a mission to find and return Rachel.
Dead for a Dollar receives its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 6th ahead of a theatrical and digital release on September 30th.
