Alison Brie leads trailer for Dave Franco’s Somebody I Used to Know

Amazon has released the trailer for the dramedy Somebody I Used to Know from husband and wife team Dave Franco and Alison Brie.

The film, written by Franco and Brie with Franco directing his second feature, sees Brie returning to her hometown and reconnects with her high school boyfriend Sean, played by Jay Ellis (Insecure) on the eve of his wedding to Kiersey Clemons’ (Dope) Cassidy. Watch the trailer below…

Somebody I Used to Know follows workaholic TV producer Ally (Brie), who faces a major professional setback which sends her running to the comforts of her hometown. Ally there spends a whirlwind evening reminiscing with her first love Sean (Insecure‘s Jay Ellis) and starts to question everything about the person she’s become. Things only get more confusing when she discovers Sean is getting married to Cassidy (Dope‘s Kiersey Clemons), whose confidence and creative convictions remind Ally of who she used to be. 

Somebody I Used to Know also stars Haley Joel Osment (Goliath), Brie’s Community co-star Danny Pudi, Julie Hagerty (Marriage Story) and Amy Sedaris (The Mandalorian).

Somebody I Used to Know will premiere on Amazon Prime on February 10th.
