January 18, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Kaleidoscope Entertainment has released a UK poster and trailer for director Patrick Lussier’s (Drive Angry, My Bloody Valentine 3D) horror-thriller Play Dead.

The film follows a Chloe (Bailee Madison), a young woman who fakes her own death to break into a morgue seeking evidence of a crime, only to find herself stuck in a terrifying game of cat and mouse with Jerry O’Connell’s sadistic coroner. Check out the trailer below…

On a mission to save her brother from the consequences of a crime gone wrong, criminology student Chloe fakes her own death to break into a morgue and steal evidence. But once inside, she soon learns that a sadistic coroner is using corpses for his sick and twisted business: selling body parts. When he discovers that Chloe is not dead, a terrifying game of cat-and-mouse ensues.

Play Date will premiere exclusively in the UK on the Icon Film Channel from February 13th, with a UK theatrical release on MArch 17th.
